Growing up in my mom's portrait studio in New York, I was inspired to dive deep into photography's history and pedagogy. I received my BFA with a photography concentration, and while still in school, started my own photography business. I wanted more education and I was encouraged by a friend to apply to Lesley University College of Art and Design's Photography and Integrated Media MFA program. It was extraordinary and life changing. Since then I've been photographing, teaching, and exploring new ways to think about and make images.
